Kosta Browne Wine Dinner - A Passion for Pinot

Kosta Browne is a highly allocated winery located in Sebastopol, Sonoma County, California. Their limited production of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay wines can only be acquired through the winery's mailing list or select restaurants.  We are honored to host Kosta Browne Winery at Mill Street Bar & Table for a special evening of food and wine. Kenneth Rockford of Kosta Browne has traveled to Greenwich from California to lead us through our tasting of exceptional wines.

She has trained on vegetable farms in California, as well as a dairy farm in New Jersey, culminating within the Apprentice Program at the Stone Barns Center for Food & Agriculture in nearby Tarrytown, New York. Alexis works tirelessly in a 4-season rotation, constantly demonstrating her passion for good food and connecting people to our earth. Alexis’s favorite herb is lemon verbena and can debate the superiority of escarole over any vegetable all day long. Alexis is committed to growing the best tasting vegetables using the best organic growing practices available at Back 40.

Caledonia Spirits Bar Hill Dinner

Join us at Mill Street Bar & Table for an evening of celebration in honor of our local harvest. Each course will feature a different Caledonia Spirit.

Straying from the world of over production, Caledonia Spirits distills Barr Hill gin using pure grain spirits as its method of showcasing juniper berry and raw northern honey. Their Barr Hill vodka is directly crafted from honey, demonstarting the memorable notes of it's small batch production.  Barr Hill Reserve Tom Cat barrel aged gin is aged 4-6 months in new, charred American White Oak, Tom Cat uniquely demonstrates whiskey-like notes of oak, spice and a finish of juniper and raw honey.  All of these beautiful spirits are masterfully created at their micro-distillery on the banks of the Lamoille River in Caledonia Country of the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont.
